Meet your Physical Therapist

Dr. Caroline Brawner

Caroline knew since she was a freshman in high school that she wanted to pursue an education in physical therapy in order to help others conservatively heal and recover. She admired the idea of combining science and medical knowledge with exercise and hands on treatment to approach certain conditions. She fully believes with the right tools and good overall health that the human body is designed to heal itself. She is dedicated to giving patients the education and interventions to get on the right track towards such healing!

Caroline's Background

Caroline is a life-long athlete and believes everyone should be in some capacity! She played three sports in high school where she is now in the hall of fame, was a Division 1 track athlete at Charleston Southern University where she excelled, and currently likes to weight lift, run, and participate in different recreational sports. As an athlete, she has rehabilitated quite a few of her own injuries. You can trust that she has experience with areas such as prehab/rehab, proper progressive overload, and return to sport.

As it relates to pelvic floor therapy, Caroline has a passion for helping other mothers and women with issues that are many times underserved such as incontinence, pelvic pain, and birthing preparation and recovery. She has found much success with educating women on the anatomy and physiology of the pelvic floor and its surrounding structures to de-mystify this region! She specializes in external pelvic treatment which is less invasive, but she may refer you to a more appropriate provider for internal examination if necessary.

Throughout her academic career, Caroline took her studies very seriously. She graduated in the top of her class in high school, undergraduate program, and doctor of physical therapy program. More important than a GPA, however, she continues to research evidence-based treatments to best serve her patients. She also strives to educate and empower others to better understand what is going on in their body and how to incorporate wellness to assist with healing.
